KATE BLONG, 24,  a graduate of Shawnee High School in Medford, recently received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from York College in Pennsylvania.  She is a registered nurse, currently working in the obstetric department at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.

Kate is eagerly preparing for her approaching wedding in July 2002 with her fiance and co-rider, Ryan O'Rorke.
