Erin Lawler, 23, received her degree in English from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in December 2000.  She spent the five months following graduation backpacking throughout Europe, and then worked as an HRI consultant for young people with disabilities.  She has been active with substance abuse issues over the past years, and began graduate school at East Carolina University this past December to study Rehabilitation and Substance Abuse Counseling.   Erin enjoys surfing, travelling, and being with her family
